Surrey Jaguars: Kyle Mayers, Sunil Narine, Brandon McMullen, Shreyas Movva (wk), Marcus Stoinis (c), Mohammad Nabi, Harmeet Singh, Hamza Tariq, Ben Lister, Mansab Gill, Logan van Beek

VK vs SJ Top Players Predictions

Marcus Stoinis (SJ): The Australian all-rounder is a much-evolved batter in the T20 format. He smashed 29-ball 36 runs in their last game against Bangla Tigers Mississauga in the Global T20 and also picked up a wicket for just 23 runs in four overs. Stoinis was riding through tremendous form during the recently concluded T20 World Cup and can be a lethal prospect with his all-round skills.

Sunil Narine (SJ): Despite his off-form with the bat, Narine continues to contribute towards the team’s case. He scalped a three-fer in their last match against the Bangla Tigers side. He was the leading run-getter during IPL 2024 and can be a game-changer with his all-round skill.

Harsh Thaker (VK): The local player has been one of the few positive things for the Knights in the ensuing Global T20 campaign. He has amassed 100 runs from four innings at an average of 33.33. Thaker is a sensible batter and currently the third-highest run-getter in the tourney.

VK vs SJ Hit or Miss Prediction

Usman Khawaja (VK): The left-handed batter has failed to lead the side from the front in the Global T20 season. However, it does not rule out the fact that Khawaja is a brilliant batter at the top of the order and is just a good knock away from getting back in form.

VK vs SJ Conditions-based Predictions

  • Teams batting first have won significant matches in the ongoing Global T20.
  • The batters need to take advantage of the powerplays because the pitch tends to slow down.
  • There’s good help for both spinners and pacers.

VK vs SJ Match Predictions

As per the betting odds, the Knights are likely to score below 67.5 runs in the first ten overs (1.98) due to their top order batters having low strike rates. The Surrey-based unit have aggressive openers and are likely to have a better powerplay (1.76). Also, the total wickets in the game is likely to be above 13.5 (1.70) due to the tendency of more wickets in the second innings.

VK vs SJ Winner Prediction

The Vancouver Knights are reeling at the bottom of the table with four back-to-back losses. The Surrey-based side will not find a better opportunity to gain momentum by capitalising on the opposition’s low-morale. The Sunil Narine-led unit is certainly favourites for this Global T20 encounter.
