After opting to bat first, South Africa didn’t get the start they wanted as their top orders failed to settle for a long time and were four down for just 50 runs in the 9th over. The stand-in skipper, van der Dussen, who looked sluggish in the previous game, steadied the ship along with Wiaan Mulder, as the duo glued 77 runs for the sixth wicket, with Mulder departing for 36 runs.
