The Max Sixty League in the Cayman Islands is underway, and in the blink of an eye, we’ve already reached match number three of the inaugural season. The Caribbean Tigers will take on the Grand Cayman Jaguars at Jimmy Powell Oval on August 18 at 3:30 PM local time.

The Tigers started their campaign on a high note, winning the inaugural match of the first edition by 25 runs. George Munsey’s side posted 101/8 in 10 overs and restricted the New York Strikers to 76/7 in their defense, grabbing two crucial points.

Meanwhile, the Grand Cayman Jaguars will be playing their first match of the Max Sixty League in the third game of the first day. Sikandar Raza have been named the icon player, with Herschelle Gibbs as the head coach. The side boasts plenty of international names such as Alex Hales, Mitchell MccLenaghan, Joshua Little, Dipendra Singh Airee, Robin Uthappa, Ben Dunk, Mark Watt, and Logan van Beek among others. They have also hired the expertise of some English domestic names such as Jake Lintott, Saif Zaib, and Ross Whiteley.

The T10 clash is all set to hit the Caribbean shores with this action-packed contest sandwiched between two others enthralling encounters. Ahead of the game, let’s hover  through the match prediction, pitch report, and top players for this encounter.

Jimmy Powell Oval, Caribbean Pitch Report

Only a couple of competitive games have been played here that haven’t been recorded properly. Teams won batting and bowling first once each. However, it is expected that the surface should be a low-scoring one with the bowlers having their say more than the batters. A fresh pitch is supposed to favour the batters at the start but might slow down as the tournament progresses.
