The surface at the MA Chidambaram Stadium suits the spinners to a greater extent. However, if dew plays a role, the role of a spinner will be reduced in the later stages of the game and the batters shall enjoy their time. The pacers may find a bit of new ball assistance but needs to keep up with their slower ball game.

SRH vs RR: Toss Predictions

The toss-winning skipper may choose to field first. The last few matches at Chepauk witnessed a great amount of dew. They would look to take advantage of the conditions and hence go for a chase in a must-win match.

SRH vs RR: Match Facts

  • SRH is the only team to have openers with SR over 199 in IPL 2024.
  • T Natarajan has a bowling SR of 15.44 this season.
  • Sandeep Sharma has the best bowling figure of 5/18 this year.

SRH vs RR: Top Batters predictions

Travis Head (SRH): The southpaw has been silenced by a couple of left-arm pacers in his last two innings. However, Head will be eyeing to bounce back after a memorable IPL outing with the Orange Army. He has the ability to change the momentum of the game with the bat at the top of the order and shall look to do so this time around.

Riyan Parag (RR): The Assam batter has been outstanding with the bat after getting to bat at No. 4 for the franchise this season. Parag has stockpiled 567 runs from 13 innings with an extraordinary average of 56.70, striking the ball at 151.60. He is currently the third highest run-getter in the tournament.

SRH vs RR: Top Bowler predictions

Ravichandran Ashwin (RR): Following an outrageous spell of 4-0-19-2 in a knockout game against RCB, Ashwin will be key in RR’s upcoming clash against the Orange Army. Ashwin has found his groove despite a rocky start and will have a home advantage in Chennai as the local boy.

T Natarajan (SRH): The Sunrisers side possess a great weapon with the ball in the form of Natarajan who is also the local lad in Chennai. He is well versed with the conditions here and has a range of deliveries to keep a batter scratching head to score runs.

SRH vs RR: Winner Predictions

Although SRH’s winning momentum have been halted several times in their last few matches, Pat Cummins and Co. seems favourite at the moment. RR seems to have found several loopholes and failed to maintain team poise.
