The cricket carnival in the Cayman Islands, the Max Sixty League, is in full swing, captivating the locals with its electrifying atmosphere. Match number eight of the event will feature the Caribbean Tigers and Boca Raton Trailblazers locking horns at the Jimmy Powell Oval on August 19 at 1:15 PM local time.

The Caribbean Tigers are flying high in the inaugural Max Sixty League event, winning three matches on the trot. In their most recent game, the Tigers drubbed the Miami Lions by 38 runs. Batting first, the Caribbean side posted a hefty 138 runs in 10 overs, courtesy of Josh Brown (44 off 20) and Chris Lynn’s (37 off 15) firepower. In defense, they restricted the Lions to 100 runs in 10 overs, securing the third victory in a row. They sit firmly on top of the points table with six points from three games and would aim to extend their winning streak to four matches.

On the other hand, the Boca Raton Trailblazers have won one game, with their previous match being abandoned due to rain. Batting first against the Grand Cayman Jaguars, David Warner (33 off 18) and Jack Wood’s (40 off 17) rollicking knocks propelled the Trailblazers to 107 runs in 10 overs, but rain interrupted the contest, resulting in an abandoned match. They are second on the points table with three points from two games.
