RCB vs DC: Pitch Report

The pitch in Bengaluru is not the same as it used to be. This one, used in the IPL, is a tad two-paced and the bowlers get a little bit of help. However, the short dimensions of the ground neutralise the effect, resulting in 200-plus totals.

Venue Stats (IPL 2024):

Matches: 93
Matches Won batting first: 39
Matches won batting second: 50
Average first innings total: 195
Highest total: 287/5 by SRH vs RCB, in 2024

RCB vs DC: Toss Predictions

The toss-winning skipper may opt to field first in the Chinnaswamy. Although there are less chance of dew, the bowlers can make use of the two-paced nature of the surface earlier and make the job easier for the batter in the second innings.

RCB vs DC: Match Facts

  • Virat Kohli is one ton away from 100 centuries across formats.
  • Jake Fraser-McGurk has a batting strike rate of 235.88 in IPL 2024.
  • Axar Patel has a bowling economy of 7.32 this season.

RCB vs DC: Top Batters predictions

Virat Kohli (RCB): The 35-year-old star has been in mesmerizing form with the bat and scored a 92 in their recent game against Punjab Kings in Dharamsala. He is the leading run-getter this season with 634 runs from 12 innings at an outstanding average of 70.44 and a strike rate of 153.51.

Rishabh Pant (DC): The wicketkeeper-batter has failed to convert his starts in the last couple of games yet accumulated 413 runs from 12 innings. If Pant gets going, he could be unstoppable. The dimensions of Chinnaswamy and the presence of a left-arm orthodox spinner and right-arm leggie could make things easier for Pant.

RCB vs DC: Top Bowler Predictions

Kuldeep Yadav (DC): The left-arm wrist spinner is an attacking option with the ball and has bagged 14 wickets from nine matches. Although he hasn’t been the most economical of all in the tourney, Kuldeep’s knack for wickets have steered his side to a winning position quite often.

Mohammed Siraj (RCB): The right-arm pacer has found his groove after a poor start to the season. He has bagged a three-fer in the last game and has picked up six wickets from his last three matches.

RCB vs DC: Winner Predictions

The Delhi Capitals could come out on top and break the four-match winning streak of RCB. The home side have not really been advantageous at their home venue and DC seems to have caught momentum and can topple any opposition on their day.

RCB vs DC: Predictions

As per parimatch website, an aggregate total of 380.5 and above should be posted on Sunday (1.85). The Bengaluru side should get at least 132.5 in 15 overs in this small venue. When it comes down to the opening partnerships, Virat and Faf du Plessis have forged a solid pair at the top for the hosts and it won’t be surprising to see an opening stand of over 32.5 (1.85) in the game.
